Rapid Setup Process
1 | Measure
Using calipers, the operator measures the short die thickness, long die thickness, and blank diameter.
2 | Adjust
In Mule Recipes, make any necessary adjustments to the short die thickness, long die thickness, or blank diameter. The updated Recipe will automatically display.
3 | Select & Insert
Select the Bars and Discs shown in the Recipe and position them behind the die or die pocket. Tighten and seat your dies.
4 | Roll
On Hartford machine, adjust your eccentric timing according to the Recipe. For all other machines, check for die alignment and adjust accordingly. Start rolling parts.
